Forsyth MO – While citizens
will be forced to put up with temperatures in the nineties for
another few days, the ridge of high pressure that helped to sustain
the heat will retrograde off to the west on Monday, June 20th.
This will help to set up a northwesterly flow that will both cool us all off
a bit while opening the door for some needed thunderstorm activity popping up here and there! The daily high temperatures will remain slightly above seasonal norms, however.
Update: Sunday, June 19 - Sunday will be fairly similar to Saturday
as highs warm into the upper 80's to the lower 90's with heat index
values in the lower to middle 90's. Instability will increase with
the heating of the day on Sunday. However, storm development is
not expected as a dry air mass will remain in place in the mid
levels with no trigger present for storms to develop around. [www.taneyservices.com]
